What We Believe

Leaders must not only have strong ethical values, but also focus the attention of the organization on ethics. In addition, they must infuse the organization with ethical principles to guide the actions of employees:

  • Through consistent, visible actions that serve as role models for others
  • Through open and honest communication about what they value (‘internal marketing’ programs)
  • Through the provision of specific concrete guidelines about what constitutes ethical conduct
  • Through the design of systems to support and hold employees accountable for ethical behavior
